A 16th Century Or Earlier Pink Marble Stoup. The carved stoup with two lion's heads and two cartouche enclosing a crown and a ladder. Salt staining from water to the interior of the bowl with honest wear to the rim and the lion's heads. Raised on a solid marble twist carved stem supported on a three sided base with heraldic shields on each side. Wonderful colour, extremely rare.
