An Eight Day Oak Long Case Clock By Thomas Clarke Of Burton. A clock made by Thomas Clarke of Burton dating to Circa 1770 with an eight day movement striking on the hour. The oak case of smaller proportions – the silvered and brass face with Roman numerals - the smaller dial showing seconds – the small aperture showing the date. A well proportioned clock that is smaller than most with backboards replaced in the 19th Century.
