A Small 17th/18th Century Oak Refectory Table

A Small 17th/18th Century Oak Refectory Table. The removable planked oak top with cleated ends raise on a base with turned legs united by a central stretcher. This table would have originally had peripheral stretchers but the longer side stretchers have been removed in favour of a central stretcher to enable comfortable seating with chairs - a 19th Century modification. Overall a great table for the smaller room and of exceptional colour.
