Renaissance marriage casket with carved decoration. The front features two medallions with the heads of a man and a woman facing each other. The medallions are surrounded by floral wreaths and scrolls. Each side has two large roses, typical of Tudor English work. The back panel is carved with diaper and guilloche designs, and the lid is adorned with a central medallion with floral designs.

Henry VIII would have had similar boxes and caskets of this form and design in his palaces.
