A Medieval French Ecclesiastical Marble Stoup. Dating from the 13th - 14th Century hand carved from Caunes-Minervois pink marble. Caunes in the Languedoc-Roussillon region of France, has for centuries been known for its pink marble without which the Palace of Versailles would be all the poorer. A rare wonderfully worn medieval item.
